DMA Mail Suppression / DMAchoice™

Remove prospects registered with DMAchoice (formerly the DMA's Mail Preference Service).

Are you wasting resources on contacts that have actively opted out of receiving unsolicited direct mail? DMAchoice™ is a residential file of consumers who have contacted the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and have asked not to receive promotional mail at home. By processing your prospect files against the Direct Marketing Association's (DMA) opt-out database, you can improve your response rates, reduce waste, and comply with the DMA's code of ethics.

DMA Mail Suppression involves matching and flagging (not deleting) your file against the following databases:

  • DMA Mail Preference Service / DMAchoice™
  • Equifax Removal List
  • State Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA)

Matched records are marked with an indicator placed in a new field added to your record. A summary report provides you with statistical data describing your results and a record layout defines field positioning and content.
