Name Suppression
Are you wasting resources on contacts that prefer not to be solicited? The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) provides a database of registered contacts who prefer not to receive junk mail. Now you can improve response rates while cutting back on painful consumer complaints. You'll also be complying with the DMA's code of ethics. cleanlist.com's process flags names on your file that have asked not to receive direct marketing solicitations.

Process:
When you order Name Suppression, records in your file that match a record in any of the following databases are marked for your review and subsequent suppression. CleanList only marks records; we don't physically delete them.
- The Direct Marketing Association's (DMA) Mail Preference Service.
- Individuals who have requested not to receive mailings through Equifax's product registration or warranty card programs.
- Personal requests from individuals who have called/written Equifax requesting removal from lists.
- State Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) files.
Deliverable:
Matched records are marked with an indicator placed in a new field that we'll add to your record. A summary report provides you with various statistical data describing your results. A record layout defines field positioning and content.
