Process:

Duplicate entries in your list are identified using advanced matching algorithms designed especially for this purpose. These algorithms are effective even when the name and address entries don't match exactly. When duplicate records are found (a set of two or more matches), all but one record in the set is marked as a duplicate using a duplicate field that we append to your record. Records are never physically deleted from your file -- they're simply marked as duplicates.

When ordering Duplicate Elimination, you must specify whether you require Household Matching or Individual Matching. With a household match, multiple individuals at a single residential or business address are considered duplicates (e.g. husband and wife or multiple company contacts). With an individual match, a duplicate is defined as multiple entries for the same individual at the same address. The service you choose depends entirely on your application and expected results.

Deliverable:

Duplicate records are marked with an indicator placed in a new field that we'll add to your record. A summary report provides you with various statistical data describing your results. A record layout defines field positioning and content.
