Address Standardization
Now, you can improve the accuracy of your address lists through cleanlist.com's address standardization process. According to the DMA, 90% of professionals in the list industry cite address standardization as one the largest issues facing their industry. Cleanlist's Address Standardization process automatically fixes most addressing errors and omissions. Plus, you'll receive a proof of accuracy report to ensure you qualify for the USPS best postal rates.
Process:
Your file is compared to the USPS master-addressing file to validate and correct street numbers (based on allowable ranges) and street names, state abbreviations, 5-digit ZIP codes, carrier route codes and the USPS Delivery Point Bar Code. Corrections are made automatically with 99% confidence. Records that cannot be corrected are marked as invalid and left unchanged.
Deliverable:
Fields will be added to your record to store correct and standardized addresses that meet USPS specifications. Your original address data is not changed. Incorrect addresses that cannot be fixed are marked invalid. A result field is added to your record to indicate the output status of each address (e.g. valid, correctable, invalid). A USPS proof of accuracy report is provided to summarize the process and the final accuracy of your file. A record layout defines field positioning and content.
