Address Standardization

Are you receiving returned undeliverable mail?  Bad address data is frustrating and expensive. CleanList's Address Standardization process automatically fixes most addressing errors and omissions.  Cleanlist.com updates your mailing list's address information to conform with Canada Post's  formatting standards, and provides a proof of accuracy report to help you qualify for postage discounts.

Process:

Your file is compared and corrected to Canada Post's master file of Canadian address. Corrections to your street addresses, city names, province codes, and postal codes (but not the occupant) are made automatically and with 99% confidence. Records that cannot be corrected are marked as invalid and left unchanged.

Canada Post certifies CleanList's Address Standardization software though its Software Evaluation and Recognition Program (SERP).

Deliverable:

Fields will be added to your record to store correct and standardized addresses that meet Canada Post specifications. Your original address data is not changed. Incorrect addresses that cannot be fixed are marked invalid. A result field is added to your record to indicate the output status of each address (e.g. valid, correctable, invalid). A Canada Post proof of accuracy report is provided to summarize the process and the final accuracy of your file. A record layout defines field positioning and content.
